Neem Naturale was created in 2019.
Dr. Steven B. Samuels is an HBCU trained plant scientist. He received his undergraduate degree from Fort Valley State University, and his masters and doctorate degrees from Tuskegee University. Throughout his studies and post-graduate research, he learned about the medicinal properties of Neem. After completing his studies and starting a family, he envisioned a soap that would encapsulate all of the wonderful properties of Neem. With the support of his wife Dr. Sherley Samuels, he created Neem Naturale in the kitchen of his home in October 2019.
Dr. Sherley C. Samuels is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She attended medical school at Temple University, and completed residency training at Rutgers University. She was ecstatic to join her husband’s efforts to create a line of Neem infused products, and was thrilled to lend her medical expertise to the process. The couple and their entire family use Neem Naturale daily, and hope to share their wonderful creation with all who desire a plant based, natural way to nourish and care for their skin and hair.
Each and every one of our soaps are not only infused with Neem oil, but are also made with 100% organic Neem leaves. The leaves undergo an all natural process to maximize their anti-aging and hydrating properties while allowing them to act as a light exfoliant. Neem Naturale can be used on all skin types, but is particularly beneficial in treating dry skin, acne, and inflammatory skin ailments.
